Always an outstanding experience at Mad Mary's. Service is always great, you can get any drink in a glass boot, food is always good (steak is great), and price is pretty good for the quality. Will always recommend highly to anyone who has never been.

This place rocks! The service is great and the food is amazing! The steaks are better than all the fine dining and other restaurants specializing in steaks in Sioux Falls. My recommendations, although you won't be disappointed with ANYTHING you order, are: Prime Rib, Chislic, and the Big Burger. Give it a try! 5 *****

The food was just ok but not worth what they were charging and the service wasn't good.

So someone else said the cook can cook! No argument here... steak was amazing (ribeye)...the sides were good.Service was poor. Brought my dinner salad before our appetizer. Never asked if we would like another cocktail (they really need more bartenders). Forgot one of the sides even after we asked them...then just offered to put the broccoli in a go box...no thank you. They should have comped a drink. Waitress never stopped back to ask how our food was. We had to ask for our ticket. Lots of visiting going on...it was way too busy for that! So...bottom line...steak - amazing...service - friendly but poor. People go for the food evidently.

Never disappointed when I go to Mad Mary's! My steak is always done to perfection! The sides are amazing! Always have amazing soups! The wait staff is always kind and welcoming! The owners are amazing people!

I had one of the best steaks of my life. The bourbon brown sugar rib eye was heaven. I dont speak lightly of food, but this place is legit.

Best steak and service ever

Absolutely the best food around; from steak to crab stuffed shrimp to seasoned walleye. While enjoying the view, we watched deer graze on the well manicured grounds between Mad Mary's and the Big Sioux River. To end a perfect meal, we were given a tour by the wonderful and friendly owners, Danny & Christina Schmidt.

I just finished doing a holiday party for the employees of Mad Mary's in Flandreau, SD. It was more of a family than a business there. What a great bunch of people and also very talented singers! We all shared a meal followed by music and singing and then a gift giving game and door prizes. And then we just sang the night away. You call me anytime and I'll be there for you to celebrate! Best ribeye steak ever

First weekend of every month they have burbon brown sugar ribeye.... id fly back out from maryland to have another one ;) the "tin taters" are AMAZING. Dont ask just order. All the steaks are aged and WOW in your mouth. Juicy. Tender. Cooked to perfection

I have eaten twice. First time was 4 stars because of service. Food was really good.Second time. 1 hr to be seated. 1 hr wait for food. Only received half of my order, 1 of my sides was cooked but cold. Don't go on a Friday or Saturday night.

This is a great place for a steak! No trip to Flandreau is complete without a visit to Mad Mary's. And the service is great, too! I'll definitely be back.

An OUTSTANDING find in a small town! From the minute we entered we were treated to excellent service and BEAUTIFUL river views! We went several times while we were in town and every meal was AMAZING! Nice selection of beer including some craft choices. Treat yourself and head to MAD MARY'S you'll be so glad you did!

Been going to mad Mary’s since I was a child living there. Hands down some of the best food I have ever had (thanks Ben and Dan) and literally every time I go back home to flandreau I eat at mad Mary’s. The prime rib is done to perfection and I would recommend it. I know the new owners kept the same stuff and will take care of this business and make sure it goes for another 30+ years.
